I have not had this scale for that long and the screen is already malfunctioning. It appears to be accurate but I will go with something that lasts a little longer next time. The product came fast and was exactly what I ordered.I have just finished my culinary and pastry diplomas at our local cooking school. During all of my bread and pastry classes, we used a scale to weigh ingredients versus measuring cups and spoons; it's the only way to go. Often times the minute amount of an ingredient was hard to achieve because most scales only weighed in 1 gram increments. While attending a bread class with Ciril Hitz, an internationally-known and well-respected baker, Ciril pulled out this scale to use. He indicated that he uses this scale frequently to weigh many of his ingredients that are less than one gram; it weighs in one-tenth gram increments. I was pleased to be able to put my hands on the scale and to use it before placing an order. I love it. I feel that my baking will be more precise now and there will be no more guess work in the weight of the specified ingredients of less than one gram. I use this scale along with my other scales for my mise en place. This scale is a MUST for the serious baker. This line of scales (HH120, HH120 D, HH320) are not good products.I have used several, most of which failed soon after purchase. The scales were treated well, never dropped, overloaded, or exposed to improper conditions, but did not last at all. One failed after three uses - the display froze and the scale was unresponsive. Upon inquiry, I was told that the problem was a faulty main board. Failure might not bother you too much if the scale is only for hobby use, but I am a biologist, and my scales failed in the midst of experiments, causing the loss of valuable data. I use other brands of scales, which have all worked quite well, and which I will be sticking to in future. These are Ohaus' cheap, bottom of the line brand, and unless you really like returning things, I would avoid them.
