I'm an application developer so I use my mouse all day. In 2013 I was getting really bad wrist pain at work using a standard mouse and started buying mice that promised to relieve wrist pain. I bought a joystick mouse, a side mouse where your hand is upright, and finally the handshoe. The first 2 ended up causing problems in other parts of my wrist/forearm just making the problem worse. The handshoe mouse actually helped my wrist heal and got rid of my pain!I have been using a medium handshoe mouse at home for 3 years, and a small handshoe mouse at work for the same time. My hand size is average and on the charts it fell in between those sizes. Both work fine, I don't notice a difference when at home vs work.I understand the concern about quality - it seems like a lot of money for what you get, but in my opinion I'm paying for the design and research to make the perfect mouse. One of the mice stopped working after about a year, but once I replaced the USB cord with a cheap one from Amazon, it worked again. Both continue to work after 3 years and many drops to the floor. If you're hesitant, give some of the other cheap ones a try - I gave my old ones to friends having similar issues and the cheaper ones worked for them. Ultimately if those don't work, this is a solid option.
